  1. Could you possibly tell me how you did the progressive photos? I'd like to do it on my blog as well. :)

    1. I used PhotoShop CS3 for the animated GIFs (Animation > Make Frames from Layers).

      If you don't have this Adobe software, there are some other options, including online gifmakers and downloadable software (free or for purchase). I haven't tried these other methods so I don't know how well they work:

      * online, just upload your images:
      ** Picasion GIF maker (http://picasion.com/) - can use photos from Picasa or Flickr
      ** Gickr.com (http://gickr.com/)

      * downloadable SW specific to animated GIF creation:
      ** UnFREEz (http://www.whitsoftdev.com/unfreez/)

      * photo editing software:
      ** Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/)
      ** Paint.Net (http://www.getpaint.net/) - this requires a plugin for the animations. Except for the plugin, this is the only one that I have personally downloaded and is a free (decent) alternative to PhotoShop CS or Elements.

      Happy editing! :)

  2. Question about your rate lock timing...did you have to relock because your closing was more than 60 days from the day you locked? We can lock now, but it not leaves us about 15 days of cushion and I am concerned that wont be enough.
